This is a similar request to mine. We do not need it to go to the parent as we are a post-secondary education provider. Maybe the automatic notification of an entered grade and comment in the grade book can have a option for just student or student and parent notification. In our case, during our accreditation visit, the representative from the Department of Education requested this assessment/comment notification feature.

It is the same in our case, all parents are requesting to be notified as soon as the teacher puts points, grades or comments. And this is very logical to have as a parent for students in high school.
